Respite & Specialized Services
Individualized support for children and families
Every child and family has different needs. LEAP provides respite and specialized services designed to support children and youth while giving families access to caring, individualized support close to home.

SUPPORT THAT FITS YOUR FAMILY
Because every family’s needs are different
Sometimes families need more individualized support than a group or program can provide.
LEAP works with families to understand their needs and provide or connect them with services that support their child’s development, participation and well-being.
RESPITE SERVICES
Caring support when families need it
Respite provides children and youth with a safe, supportive environment while giving parents and caregivers time to attend to other responsibilities, recharge or simply take a break.
LEAP’s respite services are centered around the individual needs of each child and family, with opportunities for children and youth to participate in meaningful activities, build independence and enjoy time in their community.

Developmental Clinics
Bringing specialized support closer to home
Accessing specialized services can sometimes mean travelling outside the community.
LEAP works to bring developmental clinics and professionals to Edson when opportunities are available, helping families access assessments, consultations and specialized support closer to home.
Clinic availability and services may vary throughout the year.
